Regular unisex blazer in heavyweight striped black linen/cotton that is an homage to an archival French workwear fabric dating back to the 1960s. This fabric was custom developed and added linen to achieve a richer textile surface with bit more drape.Historically Coutil fabrics were used in corset making, but also for French workwear.

Short convertible collar, front 5-button fastening and long sleeves with a buttoned cuffs. Features a subtle curved button placket at the front with the option of closing it completely, so that the collar hugs the neck. Single welt jetted pockets in the front with a flap closure and two internal pockets. Fully lined.

Each garment comes as part of a hand-numbered edition.

Unkruid is a collaborative project that was founded in Antwerp in 2023, Every shape, finish and pattern is researched in-house. Materials are sourced from artisan textile mills and sometimes developed in collaboration with them. An important part ofUnkruid’sfabric research focuses on the process of ageing through wear and washing. Their design philosophy and fabric selection celebrates nostalgic pastoral sentiments as well as contemporary technical sensibilities.
