The Ishtar collection is inspired by the Goddess Ishtar, goddess of love in ancient Mesopotamia, and by the elements star, sun and moon. Ishtars father was god of the moon, her brother god of the sun and her sister was goddess of the underworld. Ishtars own symbol was the 8-pointed star and the planet Venus.
